I started installing Ivory Pianos last night, but Glenn showed up after the first DVD finished and the long wait for the second one was too much for it. The system was hung when I got back to it. I let it sit all night, hoping it might get itself unstuck, but it required a hard reboot this morning.
So I'm having another go right now. (more...)
Where did the name "ManyIrons" come from? Anyone who knows me knows that
I've got a lot of different things on the go. That is, I have many
irons in the fire, this website being just one of them. It's a place
where I can expend some creative energy, and a forum for talking about my
ventures without necessarily inflicting them on friends or family. Come
here if you're interested, don't bother if you're not.
This website is hosted on a home computer, so it is not currently
available 24 hours a day. If you see it one day and then can't access it
another day, try again later. The computer is usually off only late at night
(EST), so most of the time you should be able to access it.
The Web Applications menu links you to programs that
actually run on the ManyIrons server. Hold your mouse cursor over each one for a brief
description.
May 4, 2006 - Latest Change: Added Comment links to OBlog
Jan. 22, 2006 - Latest Change: Added Johnny's new page to the menus and removed the Christmas wish lists until next year.
Nov. 17, 2005 - Restored the Christmas wish lists.
May 28, 2005 - Added a new recipe, Chicken &
Citrus Salad.
Jan. 6, 2005 - Christmas has passed so I have
hidden the Christmas lists. As always, check OBlog, since updates in
there are not highlighted here.
Nov. 18, 2004 - I have updated the Personal Web Page so that it
is hosted at manyirons.com. It's essentially the same as the one at Iosphere
(mentioned in the paragraph above), but I will no longer be updating that one.
So if you're looking for the latest Christmas lists (for example), you've come
to the right place. Click the link at the left.
